The Devil And Tom Walker

I Infer That Tom Walker Is A Selfish & Greedy Because in the story the author says tom and his wife  were very miserly they even conspired to cheat each other the author directly tells us that" how can i make sure what your telling me is true ". I Also infer that Tom Walker Wifes Is Also Miserly because she wanted tom to sell his soul to the devil she didnt even care that tom was gonna die in the end because the devil waits to chop down your tree once you make the deal with him he directly tells us this also because he says the " devil chopped down deacon peabodys tree ". The Devil in this story is very nice to Tom Walker because he wants Tom to make the deal with I Can Infer that the devil needs people to keep his forest running i Think Because he just chops down trees and makes new deals the author indirectly tells us this.

Pinocchio

Pinocchio was one of my childhood stories. The theme of this story is lying is not the best policy. I know this is the theme because it was very clear that Pinocchio lied to much because his nose always grew every time he lied to someone. The lesson to be learned in this story is that when you lie things go wrong and bad things happen. People get hurt and its not pretty.
